Rizwan Khan – CTO | Tech Advisor | Team Builder | Process-Driven Tech Leader I Business Innovation Enthusiast

I started my journey into technology as a software developer and progressed into more senior roles as a technical architect and later as head of engineering. I have been fortunate enough to be in the CTO role over a decade building teams, defining, and executing strategies and delivering technology platforms in highly visible industries.

I’ve been lucky to occupy tech leadership positions at organizations of multiple sizes and stages over my career, while learning a lot in the process. I decided to start this blog to share some of my experiences and knowledge from the field into small tips. These tips are meant to provide some direction/guidance to business leaders especially non-tech CEOs as they explore, build, and manage technologies for their respective businesses.  

I am also a mentor, coach and board member of many organizations including healthcare, education, and technology. I am part of many start-up incubators where I provide advice and guidance to startups. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, reading, cycling, and volunteering. I have earned my BS in Computer Science and Engineering, MBA in Technology Management and Executive Leadership Scholar from Kellogg school of Management, Northwestern University.
